Like many people, I lived by the saying “work, save, travel, and repeat”. I graduated college and moved to England to live with my husband right away just to find out that I couldn’t use my degree over here and would have to start completely over. That was out of the question! I started working right away. I would scrape together as much money as I could working 40 hours a week at a minimum wage job that I absolutely hated. Each paycheck would literally go towards the next trip! It worked for me, and I am incredibly grateful that I was able to travel to a new place once, sometimes twice a month, but I wanted something more than that. I also didn’t want to be unhappy at a job just for it to get my plane ticket and then have to go back and do it again. Thats when I started to look more into getting a career in the travel industry. I started to think and realized that no job that had nothing to do with my passion of travel would allow me the freedom to take as many trips as I would like. Finally, March 2020, I made the best decision of my life…I started my own travel business. I can now travel the world freely without working for someone else and only getting 28 travel days a year, if I’m lucky!

Hello there. Welcome to my blog.
I started this for the soul purpose to share my stories and experiences of marrying young and being a military wife, being in a long-distance relationship, finding out who my true friends are and overcoming my fears and chasing my dreams. I am no professional writer. Heck, English class was probably my least favorite class in high school and undergrad, but I have always had a love for putting my thoughts on paper and reading about other experiences and stories that may be similar to mine.
A little about myself:
I am from the United States, born and raised in the Great Lake State.
I married my high school sweetheart in April of 2017. We started dating in October of 2012. After High school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. I started taking my pre-requisites at Ferris State University. My goal was to eventually get into their dental hygiene program. After finding out they had a two-year wait list, I applied to some other colleges. I was later accepted to the University of Michigan for their dental hygiene program where I would graduate with a bachelor’s degree instead of an associate, so of course, I took this opportunity. Growing up, I always dreamt of becoming a dentist. I have recently graduated from the University of Michigan’s Dental Hygiene Program and I am now beginning my journey to get into dental school. It may be a long haul, but I believe every challenge that comes up will be worth it in the end.
My passions include traveling, shopping, laying on a beach, getting together with friends and family and dancing!!
